Recent updates have been made to all the information below.

We ask that you please review carefully to ensure you have all the important information about our 2024 junior representative program.

Junior representative is filled with a load of fun and competitive touch footy played against affiliates from across the state.

Players will be coached by some of our best Coaches while forming terrific friendships across our Redlands Touch community.  Most importantly, each player will experience growth in their fitness, skill level and overall development.

As this is representative level competition, players  MUST  be able to commit to attending regular training sessions and all carnivals.  While we focus on building a positive and fun team environment centred around our players, team training and carnival experience is essential to success and therefore attendance is compulsory.

Our junior representative season culminates at the Junior State Cup where 230+ affiliate teams from across the state compete over three days of sensational touch footy.  Queensland Touch Football has chosen Redlands Touch Association as the host venue for the 2024 Junior State Cup.  It will be big and is set to be the best ever JSC!

Parent Volunteers
Since our inception in 1978, Redlands Touch Association has been not for profit and volunteer led.

Our success will continue with your support. One parent per junior representative player will be required to volunteer at an event.  You will be working alongside our accomplished volunteer team and be provided with all of the support required to enjoy your role.

Volunteering involves a small amount of time assisting on the barbeque, in the canteen or marshalling at the carpark during one of our two major events – our Redlands Arthur Davis Cup  junior representative carnival on May 19, or the Queensland Primary All Schools Championships on November 1, 2 or 3.

Volunteer rosters will be released during our junior representative season.

Player Levy
The junior representative player levy is $345 and will include all registration fees associated with the three compulsory SQBD carnivals at Gold Coast, Palm Beach and Redlands.  If a player requires a uniform, this will be additional.

Upon teams being announced, a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required. The $295 balance of the player levy must be paid by direct bank transfer (not cash) and will be due prior to April 2.

Registration fees to attend other carnivals such as the Toowoomba Twisters Cup, Ipswich Falcons Cup and Graceville Hounds Junior Cup (approximately $30) will be additional.  Attendance at these carnivals will be at the discretion of each team coach.

Junior State Cup registration is payable to Queensland Touch Football and is expected to be approximately $65.

Green and White Teams: The player levy for all teams includes three carnivals, Redlands, Gold Coast and Palm Beach. If any of our Green and White teams cannot be accommodated at any of these events due to capacity, then one of the optional carnivals will be used instead.  Due to capacity limitations, there is no guarantee that White teams will be accepted to the Junior State Cup. We will work with QTF to establish as early as possible if they cannot be accommodated.

With over 400 players attending trials, the depth of talent on display was truly impressive.

Thank you to all players that attended.  If you were not successful on this occasion, continue to refine your skills through the year and we encourage you to attend future trials. For those aged 16 to 18, be sure to participate in our Metro Cup trials later this year.

To those selected – congratulations! You’ll learn new skills, meet some great mates, have a load of fun and share plenty of laughs. You’ll also have to work hard, very hard. Train with commitment and be there to always support your club and team.

In 2024 we have a record 20 junior representative teams.  Enjoy your journey wearing the red and green all the way to the Junior State Cup at our home ground.
