JUNIOR  REPRESENTATIVE

The team at Allsports Physiotherapy Wellington Point are experienced at providing care to young athletes and know how to get them back playing the sport they love, safely and quickly.  That is why we have chosen them as our preferred physiotherapists.

We are fortunate to have the support of their physio team for exclusive use of our Redlands Touch athletes at the two largest junior representative carnivals, our Arthur Davis Memorial Cup and Junior State Cup.

Their generous support extends to providing a 10% discount to all Redlands Touch Association players and coaching staff.

We ask that you carefully review the details below to ensure you have all the important information about our 2025 junior representative program.

Junior representative is filled with a load of fun and competitive touch footy played against affiliates from across the state.

Players will be coached by some of our best Coaches while forming terrific friendships across our Redlands Touch community.  Most importantly, each player will experience growth in their fitness, skill level and overall development.

As this is representative level competition, players  MUST  be able to commit to attending regular training sessions and all carnivals.  While we focus on building a positive and fun team environment centred around our players, team training and carnival experience is essential to success and therefore attendance is compulsory

Our junior representative season culminates at the Junior State Cup where 230+ affiliate teams from across the state compete over three days of sensational touch footy.  The 2025 Junior State Cup will be held in Rockhampton.

Parent Volunteers
Since our inception in 1978, Redlands Touch Association has been not for profit and volunteer led.

Our success will continue with your support. One parent per junior representative player will be required to volunteer at an event.  You will be working alongside our accomplished volunteer team and be provided with all of the support required to enjoy your role.

Volunteering involves a small amount of time assisting on the barbeque, in the canteen or marshalling at the carpark during one of our two major events – our Redlands Arthur Davis Cup  junior representative carnival on May 25, or the Queensland Primary All Schools Championships on October 31 to November 2.

Player Levy and Carnival Fees
The Redlands Touch junior representative player levy will be $395 and includes all registration fees associated with the three SQBD affiliate carnivals at Gold Coast, Palm Beach and Redlands.

Upon teams being announced, an immediate non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to confirm player acceptance. The $295 balance of the player levy must be paid by direct bank transfer (not cash) and will be due in early March.

UNIFORM: If a player requires a uniform, this will be additional and approximately $90.  Visit the Inferno Sports online shop by clicking here.

ADDITIONAL CARNIVALS: Player registration fees to attend other carnivals such as the Toowoomba Twisters Cup and Graceville Hounds Cup are approximately $30.  Attendance at these carnivals will be at the direction of each team coach.

JUNIOR STATE CUP: The player registration fee for junior state cup is payable to Queensland Touch Football and will be approximately $85 with payment due in May.

Elite level coach, former Australian player and current Australian coach, Adam Pryde, is leading our 2025 representative season preparations. Adam will be assisted by an exceptional team of Coach Mentors, all providing support to our outstanding Redlands Representative Coaches.  You can read more about Adam’s impressive career and long history of contributing to Redlands Touch Association by clicking here.

In 2025, our junior representative players will be supported by a record number of Australian and Queensland level touch football representatives.
